He is well known in his field and works a lot. Pay careful attention to his voice and eyes as well as other things about him. Does he strike you as autistic?

He strikes me as someone who is attempting to give a short lecture in a language which he's not accustomed to speaking on a daily basis. His pauses and stutters are from searching for the correct English words, same with his eye movements. As for his voice, he sounds like my dad used to; Dad was a three pack a day smoker for much of his adult life.

Actually he speaks the same way in his native Greek and he usually does the same eye movement and has the same stiff posture in interviews done in his native language. And he does not smoke or drink. Notice odd pitch of his voice.

I am resurrecting this thread because I would like more replies if possible. Come on, dear aspies, let's hear your opinion on this.

His lack of eye contact with the camera seems very pronounced to me and I assume as an academic he is highly focused on his special interest. He is not naturally at ease I think. I couldn't say on the basis of a video but he definitely seems aspergic to me.

Exactly. Even academics who are highly focused on their specific subjects appear more NT than this guy. He actually seems like a different person each day. Do aspies put on different masks?
