I was sort of bored the past couple of days, so what I sometimes do in that time is spam the crap of a website I don't care about. This time, it was different. When I got banned, I was told that my ISP was reported. I tried apologising, but it didn't work as I thought...
What is the best solution to this? The internet is my second special interest and if it was taken away from me, I know I would want to die.
Edit: I'm asking here because it's the only place I can trust when it comes to crap like this.

And follow that up by NOT spamming this time?

And if my mother bans me? I don't even own the connection.

I would think that the best solution is to not spam websites. Find something else to do when you're bored, that doesn't negatively affect other people. It might be a website that you don't care about, but there are certainly other people who do care about it, and when you spam it, or act like a troll, then that ruins the experience for them.

By the way, I don't mean to sound overly harsh. I'm just saying that there is a reason people get banned for spamming and trolling. It's because it creates an unpleasant experience for other people. Don't forget that anything you say on the internet may be read by all kinds of people, from all walks of life.

I tend to deal unkindly to spammers (to say the least). Spammers ruin services for most other people. I participate any many different anti spammer efforts.

After reading about it, I hope that it just ends up in a warning or nothing happening. It's just that if something more serious happened (such as being suspended or terminated), that's when the problem will arise. I can't just join a different ISP (or maybe I can?) since it is not my connection and I share it with my brother and sister, athough they hardly use it. Since I'm not paying for the internet, my mother wouldn't let me get another connection. There are no jobs available. The world has ended.

I was thinking in the way that they would just ignore it though and think it was just funny and move on, not report me to my ISP. I never even knew they could do that, unless pornography was posted, in which I didn't. Maybe I admit going too far with the spam though. I pretty much kept it going for more than a few hours, just shows that I fit in some peoples' definition of "No life".
I honestly thought that I would get nothing more than an IP ban. But anyway, thanks for clearing things up. I guess I deserved it anyway since it wasn't the first time.

Be a better hacker next time! I have one of the top hackers in Counter Strike: Source in my class, and he never gets caught. You didn't even use a program to mask your IP? No firewalls even?

I think people have been very, very nice to you given what you did.

You don't even justify it as political activism, or even revenge, just bored vandalism. The next time that you are bored, try learning something like a new photo-manipulation technique. Go on Fark and contribute. Create a useful guide or cheat sheet.
