I know someone with ADHD that has a lot of similar traits to my autistic traits. They don't like loud noises and can be overwhelmed by their environment, have trouble socializing, and have special interests, but they aren't autistic (as far as I know). I also recognize some mild ADHD traits in myself, like how sometimes I can be really hyper and have trouble paying attention, and also mild executive functioning issues, but I'm pretty sure I don't have ADHD. Can ADHD traits seem like autistic traits? What really is the difference if there can be so much overlap?

I would call them the same thing except if you are extroverted you are told you have adhd and if you are introverted you have autism.

I think ADHD people have a basic understanding of social skills and socializing, but they are impulsive and/or have difficulty paying attention and staying on task. ADHD people can fit in better than autistic people can.

My friend is introverted and he has ADHD, but I see your point kind of. He is probably more extroverted than me.
