i know some of you will be tired with people saying "i have an odd number of hair strands - does this mean im autistic" etc

but i was wondering...

whenever im in a club (which is a rarity these days) i always become unbelievably hot to the point i get all clammy, sweat profusely, can't think and feel faint while standing around doing not much - even if i haven't had much to drink, dont smoke or do drugs, dont dance (i'll be dead before i dance tbh) the room isnt that hot...

the experience was repeated at various gigs and at a celtic club night (the place had full air con and everyone else was wrapped up warm) and i still became way too hot after a minute or so and came close to passing out...

i dont have abnormal body temp or a fever or anything else btw...

any thoughts?

The adrenaline rush of an anxiety/panic attack can cause flushing and sweating. Social Anxiety can make me feel extremely claustrophobic and induce a fight-or-flight type panic. In fact, I've very nearly punched good friends in the face because they got drunk and thought it would be funny to drag me out onto a dance floor. They didn't do it twice. Personally, it's beyond my comprehension why or how anyone can enjoy the atmosphere of a crowded bar or club. I'd rather mash my face in a waffle iron.

 ...dive into a pool full of double edged razor blades?
That saying always makes me cringe!

I lock up and my Autopilot turns on when i get into to a crowd of 4 or more 2 if i dont know them. While on Autopilot i some times can talk, move around but very percise and stiff; and yelliing, being annoying, or touching me and i will yell at the top of my lungs to stop, my lovely life :)

The last time I was in an enclosed place packed full with people was at the Smithsonian museums during Easter break a few years ago. The noise wasn't so much a problem as feeling restricted and hemmed in. I also felt impatient that people wouldn't move along.I had to fight the impulse to shove people out of my way. I do get overheated too.
