I could eat the same thing everyday. I could eat hard shell tacos everyday if my family would let me. The same thing with Zatirans Jumbilaya and their gumbo. I also could eat roast beef and mash potatoes everday aswell.

When I worked at the machineshop there was a Mexican food shop near by called mighty taco where I would get a super mighty pack of extra hot burritos everyday. My co-workers would plead with me to get McDonalds or something different. :P

My diet is pretty repetitive, but I suspect the reason has more to do with making it easy to prepare the food than any great need for the meals to be the same every day. I definitely don't like surprises with food - don't want anything nasty on the plate - and I go with the idea that once you've found something you like then it's silly to change it for the sake of change, but I get very bored sometimes with the same old food over and over, and then I long for something different, but I can't be arsed to make the change.

I would, and will when I live on my own. The Pizza Hut near wherever I live will get a lot of business thanks to me

I could eat Morningstar Chik'n strips everyday. They are like little vegetarian crack strips. Also the Morningstar Riblets, with rice. I don't know what it is that makes that sauce so addictive.

I wouldn't eat the same thing everyday, because then I wouldn't have a varied diet, you can have too much of a good thing.

It's not healthy to eat the same thing every day, but until I was in my 30's that's pretty much what I did. Now I have a real interest in cooking and trying new things, even new things that let me down, because I can say "I've had that". Still, I do have my staples that I make over and over again, like orrecchiette pasta with broccoli raab and spicy sausage, or clay pot chicken with carrots, mushrooms, potatoes, rice and a Middle Eastern relish.

Never again will I call a deli and have them say "The usual?".

Yes. If I liked it once, why shouldn't I like it over and over? My husband disagrees and won't eat the same dinner two days in a row. He can't explain to me why.

I do eat the same things every day of the week-I like to eat what I like and I do have variety once in a while but not often-don't get many invites to go out to eat due to the limited social interaction and people don't think to invite me along because of my lack of social skills-its becomes a self perpetuating situation-you want to get out but would like to be comfortable with someone you know to maybe be a helpful guide but they don't want you around because you are "different" so it just gets deeper and deeper-I just do not like to go places like that alone with no "safety net" lets say. The want to get out there is there but I have a long way to go feeling right about going it alone, and the neurotypical people arent alone because they usually invite other neurotypical people along it seems to me although if they go out alone at least they have the skills to interact naturally with other people which is a skill I lack.

I do eat the same thing everyday. I eat a variety of foods, but in the same order and the exact same foods every single day.

I eat a repetitive high-protein, high-carb diet in the vain hope that it will help me get muscular.

I eat the exact same thing everyday for breakfast: 2 fake eggs, 1/2 cup of oatmeal (plain), 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce, 1 tablespoon raw walnuts (on oatmeal). That gives me my basic needs for the morning, and it's easy, fast, and I like it too! I guess I've been eating that meal for about 4 years. Lunch & dinner, if I could, I'd eat at a local Mexican take-out place, but too far to eat there so often. They have grilled carne asada, and grilled chicken, and outstanding home-made salsa.

At work I always have a bagel and cream cheese with tomato and lettuce. For dinner I like having pasta with cheese. For breakfast, it's usually cereal.

Then I eat other things.
