I am in college and trying to write a 6 page paper. After working on it for a month I have 2 pages. I cannot think of words to write or say. I say less than 50 words each day because I have nothing to express. How do I find words within me?

That's hard to answer without knowing the topic of the paper. With some, they just want facts, statistics and evidence. Others want you to opine some. Or a lot. Sometimes, even if you think what you're writing is superfluous and padding, just write SOMETHING down, anything.

Get a writing tutor. They'll help you express what you want to say into words.

The thing is that I have nothing to express. It takes me hours to write anything at all because I can state everything I want to in one sentence.

The other thing a tutor would be able to do would be to help you expand what you have. They might help you add more transition sentences, introductory sentences, related facts, etc. Have you ever tried a tutor?

Yes, but they never help. They give me more ideas which I immediately sum up in a single sentence.

What have they done in the past? What methods have they tried?

You just used two, so you may be exaggerating because you take pride in your concision. Brevity is good in the real world, but you're rewarded for prolix, pompous papers in school. Pad like crazy. Learn to love tautology. Belabor every point. If your peers can be sloppy and long-winded, so can you.
