I'm applying for DLA, dont think I'll get it with the recession but worth a try.

I don't know what's relevant about my condition, I was going to include things like this:

If I wasn't reminded about it I could:
Forget to put petrol in the car and run out
Go out without my house key
Sleep in my clothes instead of changing into nightwear
Not take my medication or take too much
etc
etc
etc

Am also writing about getting overwhelmed easily and needing assistance.

Is there anything else I should be including.?

You need to research the Executive Function issues associated with AS, because everything on your list comes back to that and it will make a more succinct and clinically compelling argument if you can support your concerns and problems with criteria already established as common to Autism.

I had the same problem when I was filing for SSDI and it would have been so much easier for me to explain if I had understood it better myself. I expect the analysis the government people received from my Therapist and the diagnosing Psychologist probably explained the situation much better than I did, but I filled pages trying to describe something that can be detailed pretty coherently in a few paragraphs.

Thanks. I'm on to it.
