I do not believe for one second that Robin Williams has aspergers syndrome. He's a little ecentric and might have some mild traits but do you agree with me that he has not on the spectrum?

Who says that he's got aspergers? I've no idea whether he has or not. It would never occur to me to suspect him of that.
On the other hand, there are plenty of people diagnosed with aspergers and their families and friends refusing to believe that.

Indeed, that doesn't make sense. 8O

It's been speculated that he has Bipolar Disorder, but that hasn't been confirmed, either.

Unless you know him personally...I don't think you can judge.

I don't know him personally so...

That doesn't make sense. He seems hyper social.
I've heard Bi-polar before, and that fits. Plus I think he did a lot of cocaine... probably fried a few brain cells here and there, LOL
He's very social, can think and improvise very quickly, and can interact with anyone, so I'd say no way for AS.
I haven't met him but have known people who have and they said he was talkative and friendly.

I think that he's way to social, to be an aspie. I'm a social person, but I'm not half as social, as he is.

woody allen is supposed to be on the spectrum. i can understand that he reminds me very much of my brother who appears sociable but never gets close to anyone. but robin williams? never thought so.

Well I am sure robin williams would be offended to be branded as an aspie.

But he does come up on the list of actors with aspergers along with Keanu Reeves as well. Keanu may have aspergers becasue he goes through depression a lot.

To be fair as well in 'One hour photo' he did play a character who might have had aspergers becasue he was obssesed with photos and putting them in order etc...

Robin Williams is said to have bipolar disorder which really is more realistically fitting. Heck there are quite a few well-known comedians that would likely fit that pattern too.
