A family claims they were attacked in a local restaurant because of their autistic son.

This Blankfield guy is a disgusting sociopath and should never see the outside of a prison again




Based on this charming comment he made to THE ARRESTING OFFICER WHILE BEING DRIVEN TO JAIL....this swine has no remorse whatsover:


"In the police report of the incident, the arresting officer said Blankfield continued to make hateful remarks even as he was being driven to jail. The report quotes Blankfield as saying of the boy's father: "Good for him. He gets what he deserved...an autistic kid."

The sad thing is...this guy will likely do little or no time in prison. Therefore, I sincerely hope he drops dead of a heart attack soon. Not out of some lust for revenge, but simply because sometimes death is the only way to rid society of dangerous pests like him. Oh great.....this must be disabled awareness month in South Florida. The local police also used a taser on a mentally handicap boy and his mother.

In other possibly related news.....Miami was just choosen as the fourth worst place to live in America. I live in Ft. Lauderdale, but it's not light years better here. As local author Carl Hiaasen once said, Florida is like a peninsular funnel for all of America's dross.

Since his crime was not sex related he will be in general population and when the other knuckleheads find out he beat a child let alone an autistic child he will be victimized to the best of their abilities. My cousin told me that there was a guy who shook his child into brain death an he was beaten on a daily basis for a week until the guards finally moved him into protective custody, so we can only hope it happens that way to him.

Well....not to downplay what this scumbag did, but according the article, he didn't lay a hand on the child, he *just* assaulted the father. I personally don't consider that somehow morally superior to attacking the child....unprovoked violence is unprovoked violence to me. Still....I suppose his fellow "knuckleheads" in prison wouldn't see it that way if he did attack the child. I really wouldn't want to see the guy get beaten, because such things just seem like crude vengeance to me and "cruel and unusual punishments". Nonetheless, I do hope he just drops dead relatively peacefully from a cardiac arrest or something. I just think death is a practical and "necessary evil" solution (since our justice system doesn't seem serious about keeping people like him isolated from the rest of society permanently until they kill or rape someone) for people like him.

I'm willing to bet this idiot has been bullying and assaulting innocent people all his life. He seems like a good candidate for anti-social personality disorder and he should be evaluated. If so...I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he was dx-ed with ASPD. Taken together with his recent, and likely past, behavior...we'd probably be looking at a ticking time-bomb here. You can't just add water and grow a conscience. This guy is likely beyond all rehabilitation and should either be locked away forever or he should die in his sleep one night soon. Seriously...what other solutions make logical sense with unremorseful barbarians like him???

If I was put in a cell with that asshat, I would most likely stick a shiv to his jugular/carotid...

How much money should the taxpayers have to spend on rehabilitating guys like this when it doesn't work half the time? Our so-called justice system is so ridiculous in so many ways it's not even funny!! ! I'm the furthest thing from a conservative, but seriously, I don't see what's so "conservative" about the desire to isolate, by whatever means necessary, violent/sexual sociopath predators from the rest of society. Surely the world's richest and most technologically-advanced country can do better than this!! !


Consider the costs of rehabilitation. Consider the costs when guys like this are released on parole/probation and have to be monitored. Not to mention the fact that they're virtually unemployable with a record of violent/sexually-based felonies. They come out, can't get a job, become stressed, angry and frustrated because of it and therefore, often commit worse crimes than the ones they were initially sent to prison for. It's amazing to me that psychologists seem to continue to be fooled by sociopaths. On one hand they'll swear guys like this can't be rehabilitated and on the other, they try anyway and pronounce many "success stories".

"Success stories" who...just as often as not...go on to rape, torture, assault and murder other people. Heck....some of the ones who the psychologists even consider unredeemable are free to roam the streets after a short stint in prison. All they learn in prison is how to be better criminals. The serial killer and sexual sadist Lawrence Bittaker is a prime example of this:

"Lawrence Bittaker
Shortly after his birth, Bittaker was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. George Bittaker. George worked in aircraft factories, which required the family to move often, from Pennsylvania to Florida to Ohio and finally to California.

Bittaker, who had a tested I.Q. of 138, dropped out of high school in 1957, after several run-ins with juvenile authorities and police. Shortly thereafter he was picked up for car theft, leaving the scene of a hit-and-run accident, and evading arrest. He was imprisoned in the California Youth Authority until he was 19.

The FBI arrested Bittaker in Louisiana several days after his release for violating the Interstate Motor Vehicle Theft Act. Convicted in August 1959, he was sentenced to 18 months in an Oklahoma federal reformatory. His behavior there soon got him transferred to a Missouri medical center. He was released after serving six months of his sentence.

In December 1960 he was arrested in Los Angeles, and in May 1961 was sentenced to 1-15 years in a state prison. A psychiatric evaluation determined Bittaker to be paranoid and borderline psychotic, with little control over his impulses. Despite these findings, he was released in 1963.

He was picked up two months later for parole violation and suspected robbery, and again in October 1964. While in prison he was again given a psychiatric evaluation, and again determined to be borderline psychotic.

In July 1967 he was arrested and convicted of theft and leaving a hit-and-run accident. He was sentenced to five years, but was released in April 1970. However, in March 1971 he was picked up for burglary and parole violation. He was sentenced to six months to 15 years in October. He served three years of that sentence.

He was arrested again when he stabbed a supermarket employee in the parking lot of the business. Bittaker had stuffed a steak down his pants and the employee had followed him outside and tried to stop him. The man survived, and Bittaker was convicted of attempted murder. He met Norris while in prison at the California Men's Colony in San Luis Obispo.

In 1976 Bittaker was hired as the manager for the Holiday Theater in the Reseda area of the San Fernando Valley.

He was given another psychiatric evaluation, which rejected the borderline psychotic finding, saying instead that he was a classic sociopath. Another psychiatrist called Bittaker a sophisticated psychopath. Despite the psychiatrists' warnings, he was released in November 1978 and moved to Los Angeles."

Well....after Bittaker was released...he went on to (along with his equally monstrous partner... Roy Norris) kidnap, rape, torture and murder five teenage girls in the most brutal and sadistic fashion imaginable. He dispatched a few of his victims by shoving an ice pick in their ears just to mention one of his unspeakable atrocities.

This worthless canker sore is STILL sitting on death row 29 YEARS after being convicted of rape, torture, kidnapping and murder. As one would expect in a sane and civilized society such as ours ...he receives hundreds of letters from devotees across the world.

We have 250,000 homeless Vietnam Veterans in this country and this pig gets to live comparatively well on death row at taxpayer expense. I'm surprised some unbalanced women hasn't married him yet, but I guess he's not as charming as his fellow death row serial killer, Richard "the Nightstalker" Ramirez.

To be fair....I can't blame the psychiatrists in Bittaker's case at least. Rather...the blame lies with our inexpressibly moronic, corrupt and indifferent "justice" system and this sort of nonsense isn't limited to the state of California either.

When I worked in a resteraunt whenever someone complained about some baby or kid making noise our manager usually comped their meal if it was real bad and they just started their meal. If they were halfway thru or finished and complained they would set them up with some kind of free appitizer. Most people just asked the waitress to reseat them like how you would expect a normal human to behave..

Yet another thing that irks me about guys like this:


He seems like the hyper-macho type who might like to drive Harley-Davidson motorcycles. These "hogs" make an ungodly racket and qualify as "noise pollution" if anything does. Unlike jackhammers and jets, these bikes are hardly necessary sources of noise pollution. So a self-entitled bullying a**hat like this guy gets all bent out of shape because an autistic kid spoiled his precious dinner at Olive Garden and yet would probably think nothing of driving his "hog" through residential neighborhoods at 3:00am in the morning.

You know....the usual time nobel prize winners like him get home from a night of budweiser-swilling, big-game watchin', belching and cheating on their abused spouse

But I guess people who are constantly subjected to their glorified noisemakers should just up and move if they don't like it eh? Or I guess they should just be forced to wear eagplugs 24/7. I guess we should all go out of our way to accommodate dumb, infantile, and self-absorbed white american males everytime they want a new f**king toy.


I'm not saying all Harley owners are bad people or inconsiderate in any way, but i'll bet dollars to donuts this guy is if he's actually ever had one.


Seriously....this country has some unbelievably f**ked-up values and priorities.

Depending upon where I am, if I really want a screaming child to go away, I find that lighting a large and smelly cigar in an ostentatious manner usually does the trick. It's entirely subjective, but I think the stink eye from the kid's parent as they drag said child away enhance the flavor of the cigar, but that may be just me.

Exactly....I mean if anyone is sensitive to screaming babies and such...it's me. I've got my own NVLD/AS-related sensory issues and I hate almost all loud noises. Still...when i'm in a restaurant and someone's kid is wailing at the top of their lungs, I just frown and bear it.

I don't expect any compensation from the restaurant either. If it's convenient for both the restaurant and myself, i'll politely ask to be reseated. This idiot was just looking for an excuse to bully and assault someone. I'm glad some people in the restaurant did the right thing and got involved. If I was a waiter there, I would've smashed him on the head with one of those heavy plastic glass racks (heavy if they're full of glasses ofcourse) restaurants usually have in their waitstations.

A hot fajita skillet would do nicely too provided you work in restaurant that serves fajitas. No sense in wasting a good bottle of wine on this imbecile's head

Well...i'm not so sure if the punishment fits the crime here so to speak, but there's surely worse things you could do.
