However smart we might be, however 'successful' we think we are in life and regardless of how well we (think that we) fit in, anyone with Asperger's is 'damaged goods' as far as the World is concerned.

I'm damaged goods and I don't give a s**t; in fact I am giggling while I type this

I think everyone is 'damaged goods', whether they're on the spectrum or not.

There is no way that anybody could get through daily life, in this day in age, without becoming damaged goods, whether they're on the spectrum, or NOT.

Cockney, I am going to place this post into the 'Great quotes on WP' thread :thumright:

I actually do give a s**t because I don't know what I'm going to do. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome that has been getting worse over 25+ years and it's becoming difficult to take care of myself and I can no longer take care of the house. I'm about to become alone, which I have never been and which I can't tolerate. So I'm pretty much screwed. If I wasn't damaged goods I might harbor the hope that someone would want to be with me and help me out.
