So, we just passed the winter solstice. The days will start to get longer. I dislike longer days. I actually like it when the days are short, and it dawns later, and it gets dark earlier. I love longer nights. I feel better, with more energy when the nights are longer.

Anyone else experience anything like this?

I like it during the holidays, if the nights are long and I'm at home. I'm also a night owl, so I'm more functional in the night time anyway.

However for safety reasons, I prefer long days during Uni time.

Yesss! I like long nights in winter with the snow and the lights and all..
but I also kind of like long days in summer when you can swim in the river until like 10pm, too.

But I guess night is still my favorite. :3

summertalk already? you got to be kidding me, winter just arrived for me! jesus, this last summer was horrendous. it didnt rain do you know arizona has been in a drought for15 years? 15 years! arizona always seems to get scwered climitacalogially and well hopefully winter lasts atleast till august

Too true. I HATE the weather here in Arizona. It's true that winter just arrived. And it's only here to stay for a couple of weeks. A couple of months if we're lucky. Then it's back to the 120 degree F weather.

I love summer - I hate winter. That's all I can say, so I'll better go find a forum with people who like summer best.

Summer always messes with me, because I lived near the equator when I was younger, where seasons weren't as noticeable. I find it very odd when it's still bright daylight at 9:00 PM. Oddly enough, I don't have the same thing for winter.

I generally like Spring and Autumn, where it's not too hot and not too cold. In Summer, there's also something in the air which I can't quite place, but I think it's plant-based.

I'm beginning to like summer the best, because it's light, when I'm walking around the parking lots, at work, at 6AM. I also get to wear the band T-shirts, that I've ironed transfers on, throughout the colder months. I also get to wear shorts and sandals.
