I like Carly. I'd be honored to meet her in person.

My absolute favorite? Alexis Wineman. She's my celebrity crush, and that's despite the fact that's she's spent way too much with Jenny McCarthy and a ton of others who think that autism can be cured, a fact that sort of bugs me a little (you can say that "you can't cure what isn't a disease" and hang out with the drama queen of autism moms). But I'd like to know her actual points of view on autism, if she agrees with them or if she just went along with it. Would I be honored to meet Alexis? Regardless, yes!

Given the chance to have lunch with her or President Obama, I'd take her, no offense to POTUS.

A close second is John Elder Robsion, with a third being Jerry Newport.

Then again, I heard on The Middle tonight this little tidbit: "Don't meet your heroes." There might be a point to this.

KingdomOfRats...never met him. Alex is significant in his own right (WP has 80,000+ members: that's bigger than the population of some cities!). And JER is one of the coolest people you'll ever meet.

I don't think a lot of our American friends know who Carly is because she's from...ta-dah! Toronto, the 905! (I don't know where in Toronto Carly lives, and if I did, that'd be weird).

Amanda Baggs, because she thinks all autistics deserve acceptance.
