It just kinda rolled out this morning when my mom was rushing me around and I was trying to wake up.

Zero to B**ch in .06 seconds

I soak the morning into every pore
of my skin,
warming my blood slowly like long... saturating bath.
Each yawn, inhailing the lazy, content air...as the sun
greets me, shyly, peeking behind the mountianous curtains inching onto the stage of the day.

A rushing voice reverberates the room, shattering the quiet air into millions of shards,
some of them splinter my nerves,
laying there, sizzling like live wires on the ground,
about to be walk on.

Morning has come.

I would post it in the art section, but I thought I would try it here to see if others wake up like this too?

I've never woken up, like that. I've always woken up, in a more better mood.

As your fellow non-morning person, I like it.

I'm too tired to analyse the litterary devices you may have used though I'd love to but I really like your poem. Which is strange since it doesn't to be a complex writing at first though I can definetely see great alliteration and a nice melancholic rythm. I also like the structure.

I really like your poem. I think it expresses how you felt clearly and beautifully.
