You know. I would be interested to know the number of people on WP in the middle of the night, compared to other message forum sites.

I normally am on here, granted doing other stuff too, until 4 or 5 in the morning. I have trouble sleeping, and i assume that there are plenty of others like me on this site.

I'm on here in the middle of the night. But then again I do all of my hobbies in the middle of the night because I'm nocturnal.

Yup. Your situation is exactly like mine was when I first signed up and why I eventually asked for my account to be temporarily suspended for a few weeks.

Well into the night, sometimes, but if I wasn't here, I'd be on LiveJournal or Hulu or a news site or somewhere else, probably while playing Solitaire. Often, I'm just pinging back and forth between all of the above. I've always felt much more awake at night.

My thing is drawing, and I know exactly what you mean about being more creative when no one else is around. I just love the night because it's totally silent except for the much-loved white noise of the fan in my room. There's no sunlight to hurt my eyes and there's no chance of having to interact with anyone who might come over to visit.

The only downside to this kind of lifestyle is that when I need to do something during the day, such as going to the dentist or doctor, it completely throws me off-schedule and it can take up to a week to get myself back on track.

I can't stay up much past 11:00 pm, and if I try, my brain is partly asleep. I wake up at around sunrise every day, regardless of need to be anywhere, or what time I went to bed. That has it's merits and also it has pitfalls.

Maybe some of the people are living abroad and there could be a time difference. But in the weekends when I cannot sleep, I read fora on the internet.

You should see my channel. NO ONE is sleeping at "normal hours".

I have been on here at night before but now I go to bed and sleep because I work in the day time.

it seems like some never sleep on here, it might seem like I am on all the time, but I leave my browser on or I forget to log off, most of the time I am out in the yard gardening.

Log in at night yourself then look at the "Online now" thing at the side, that'll tell you accurately.
