i guess you could call it a special interest
i am self-diagnosed,but i would still say mine is music, i was the best musician to pass through my middle school, learning six years worth of grades and pieces in just over a year.
its my passion, and i never want to give it up.

That's a great interest! Personally, I've never been able to click with music, and it wouldn't work with me because my musical tastes are so narrow (video game music, with a preference for orchestral styles). For years though, I've wished I could have an understanding of music, because I think composing music would be tremendously fun. It's too late for me, though. I don't even have an elementary school student's understanding of musical structure, or the writing and reading of music.

My primary Special Interest is music, too, but for me its all about collecting it and listening to it - I never learned to play an instrument, but I love hearing others play, and I have a compulsive obsession with organizing things (that Autistic impulse to line things up or arrange them in patterns), so I collect and organize my music endlessly, like a librarian or a historian, representing periods of time by the music popular during that era or year or month.

Music's my dominant interest as well. Pretty much everything that can be done with music - playing, listening, writing, producing, organizing, critiquing, collecting, etc... I do a lot.

I don't even watch TV in my room because for every minute the TV's on, music's not playing! I play video games nowadays mostly for the purpose of music. Thankfully a lot of games have nice music; those that don't aren't worth my time.

Nice call with the video game music! I have quite a few video game soundtracks, with diverse styles. ;D Video Game music's really underrated - it deserves to be up there with film/movie scores.

Music is nice, but it took me a long time to actually start to like just listening to it. I had to be singing or playing it for it to be interesting, when I was a kid. But nowadays, I sing along with recordings (usually adding another line of harmony to make it more interesting), and it's all good.
