i have a so called friend that i don't even understand... first off he claims to have aspergers but what he really has is antisocial personality. he steals from people and then tries 2 say we stole from him!! ! and always says hes a lawyer and works 4 the cia!! !! and he's gonna sue me. i don't know what to do he keeps harassing me... oh and he's gay as well now he saying that i stole his pearl necklace!! !! !! he is legally insane bipolar 1 ... so whos in the wrong here. and then he says he was molested im at my wits end

Anti-social Personality Disorder requires him to be hurtful to himself or others, if he doesn't do that then I don't think he qualifies. From the description you gave, he's a habitual liar and has delusions, so my diagnosis is that he's...um, weird?

I was friends with a girl like that, at one point, in my life. She told tall tales and lies, about everything.

yes in fact he just called me and threatened me and hes talking about some pearl necklace again!

Perhaps. If he first claimed to have AS that he may have been confusing that with the need for social isolation seen in Schizotypal PD.

Claiming he works for the CIA, being paranoid and suspicious...well, this was my first thought. I could be wrong, and despite the link on the above website, diagnosing a PD over the Internet is probably not very reliable.

Be careful around this guy. If he keeps harassing you get a restraining order. These things can become very dangerous very fast.

I'd give him a wide berth. Last guy I knew who lied like that ended up being arrested for setting fire to the cathedral. And he didn't even manage to burn it down.

I'm tempted to advise that anybody can be reached with the right kind of careful, sensitive dialogue, but I have to admit that there are some folks who are just so wacky that I have to admit I'm out of my depth and leave their salvation to more skilled hands. I hang about with some pretty odd people but they've always seemed as sane as I am. You have to peer through the superficial stuff and find the real person inside....but sometimes the real person turns out to be just as bonkers as the first impression suggested.

Be careful, he is definately unstable. I agree that you should get a restraining order if he continues harassing you. I suggest you just stop being his friend! Don't walk up to him and say "I don't want to be your friend anymore", as he might get violent. Don't hang out with someone who's crazy AND dangerous!

A pearl necklace is a sex refrence to ejaculating into a person's face. He pretty much threatend to sexually assault you. Stay away from that jackass you might get raped.

pathetically enough he is talking about an actual pearl necklace (gay male) but he is just a drama queen so i ignore him now
