for awhile now I've have been question if i have aspie
or not. now I know i've been diagnose with ''asperger''
but this test was back when I was ten and I dont even remember
having the test. But the fact is I've make good eye contact, always
had nt friends as well as non-nt friends growing up. Somewhat good
at conversation. I understand the pun of a joke and sense of humor.
Seem not to be super shy around people. Always like the center of attetion.
but the two things that made me really question my aspie was I have no freaking
talent at anything, no nothing nada. Piano skills suck, math skills suck, chess skills suck,
thinking games suck. And the second one is I have no hobbies I dont collect bugs, stamps,
or others stuff. Since lot a you guys are pretty smart , maybe you guys can help explain
what the hell am I.and see if the test was bogus. thanks

Go see a doctor (the same doctor?) and ask if you can take some test again. Ask to be diagnosed just as a normal visitor.
Perhaps you have developed good skills in acting normal? Do you feel you have to "put on a show" to behave this way?

Not all Aspies have "special skills".

It's quite possible that you could've had a wrong diagnosis; or that you've compensated for a mild/moderate case of AS so that you're no longer hindered by it. In any case, if you're really curious, talk to a doc about it.

Maybe you don't have Aspergers. You wouldn't be the first person to be misdiagnosed.

The fact is if you feel normal, well then you are! Why hang on to a label when you don't need it?
Get rid or it, and get on with your life.

Even if you were dianosed correctly, why would you want to hang on to the label of aspergers, ask yourself why you need it - is it providing you with anything?

If you feel ok, don't waste your time and money on getting a diagnosis. Just get on with your life. You sound fine to me!

But I heard that some people with Asperger are very active in social life. Even too active. I excuse if I am wrong.
And doctors can make wrong diagnosis
