I was wondering if anyone has any nicknames that come from the fact that they are an aspie? My least favorite one is "The Masturbator" because I have a habit of rocking back and forth in my chair in class.

My school is the magnet for special ed students... with all the down syndrome kids coming into the class every day to collect the trash, nobody really notices that I'm an aspie... just incredibly funny... :)

I usually don't pay much attention to others thoughts and opinions. When I attended elementary school though, I used to have a niack-name or two due to my otherwise wierd behaviour. This has become less frequent, although I now am bothered with the fact that people go on about the way I run and how I'm not able to catch a ball in PE class. For some reason people think that I am afraid of the ball.

I have never had a knick name in school but my son is sometimes called, "Robot".
Some of the kids call him this because if his stiff movements and monotone voice but they don't seem to mean any harm by it. They treat him pretty well, actually.

The kids in your school must be a bunch of jerks! That's ridiculous.

i used to be called "The Freak" just for being weird, in general. it still makes me feel really nervous when i hear someone say the word "freak," even though i left school nine years ago.

People usually call me "Yao Ming" because I'm tall and I'm asian (although people mistake me as Chinese). But I've never gotten any nicknames related to AS, most people aren't aware I have AS, though they might be aware of some of my weird traits.

Let's see... freak, weirdo, loser, geek, nerd, nigel (apparently means someone with no friends)... the list is endless.

Rocky Raccoon was one for my temper.
I could wear that one no problem. I was kind of proud of that label. I was even thinking of using it as my username.

But not these, the ones I hated were Silly Sully or Sillivan, they brought the Rocky Racoon out of me.

Other nicknames which had nothing to do with aspergers four eyes or geeky eyes because I wore glass, or spider eyes for my hairy eyelashes

I was also called many bad things. I was hurt by it then, years later I felt sorry for them, these days I just see it as yet another example of how the world is not as it should be.
