Inner voice missing?

I don't remember having any kind of inner voice until I was 11ish. The voice that is your inner monologue.

Anyone else?

I'm sure I always had that voice, but I didn't really used it. I talk a lot in myself and notice that I still whisper the dialogues in my head while daydreaming or rethinking stuff.

I do that too. Problem is, I'm thinking so hard about whatever I'm thinking about that I end up saying it outloud and sometimes, people hear me. I hate the weird looks. My little sister annouces I'm talking to myself to me if I accidently do it around her. -Power Girl

Yes.

Whatever the inner voice is - I became aware of it in grammar school - in my case, as I recall it was silent most of the time and when I am became aware of it - it for for only a few seconds at a time. It literally tooks me decades to try to understand what it is/what it isn't and to realize that it is normal for a lot of people and they are aware of it far more than I.

Yeah I don't have an internal dialogue either. I either have a song playing in my head or its silent like right now.

Is it that it isn't/wasn't there, or that you simply aren't/weren't aware of it?

I have my inner picture series and I replaced inner voice to music I listen to almost constantly. The singers speak instead me.

Mine never shuts up.....ever..
