My fiance has a soothing voice. When I'm on the egde of a meltdown he talks to me. He knows he can talk about anything because I'm not hearing his words but I'm hearing his voice and it brings me back to a safe place.
My Mum helps me a lot. Talks to me, takes me out for lunch etc.
