I was thinking about non verbal communication then I started to wonder about aspies and the game charades. The game involves a member of a team acting out a phrase or word and his teammates guessing it based solely on non verbal actions. Have you, YES YOU, played it? How good were you at guessing? How good were you at pantomiming the phrase or word?

I took theater with a friend in HS . During one class we had to play charades. I was much better at acting things out than I was at guessing them. I feel much better acting something out than guessing. I've also played this game with friends and am always the last to figure out actions of others. Its hard for me but can be quite fun :)

I loved acting them out, but I was good at guessing them too.

i suck really bad at these guessing games. Also because i do not want to shout dozens of guesses, when i answer something i have to be sure.

I have never played that game but I´m certain I would suck at it.

I think I should get myself one of these sets of cards with pictures of people on them with all kinds of different facial expressions, combined with a written explanation of what that paticular expression means. I can only interpret obvious facial expressions like a wide smile and an exremely angry look but that´s about it I´m afraid.

The nonverbal communication in charades is completely different from the standard nonverbal communication, I'm fine at charades.
