hey guys

tell us about any unique, funny, aspie like goings on recently that you've experienced...

HERE ARE MINE FROM TODAY: two random things i thought were funny today were:

...i was having an open debate in my office at work about how weird i am and i challenged a colleague to psycho analyse me and she said:
"I think you're just...laid back"...lol...little does she know why!

...secondly, came home from work today, switched on the printer and noticed the rhythm and tone of the printer, anyone else do this? and because i was so happy at the time i started singing "you're the man, you're the man" over and over with the printer...lol!!

happy times folks

Kerry x

someone called me wierd today. I tend to act rather aloof when listening to music.

yeah, but anyway. Some people and I had a discussion about how many grapes one could fit into ones mouth. Not actually aspie related though. (yet rather entertaining)

And by the way, I've noticed that printer rhythm (as well as the "brushing-my-teeth" rhythm and the food processor rhythm)

In the office they brought up the story about when accidentally mistaken an mistake a member of staff for an older less attractive one. I said to this lady “Hello Sheila, you’re looking a bit ruff today, did you have a late night.” She said, ”I am not Sheila, you got the wrong girl”.

What I didn’t tell office staff that I made up the story completely, but they found it funny because they think I am very untactful. I am but not to that extent.

customers in my shop order newspapers and come in next day expecting me to rember 1) their name 2) what papers they ordered 3) which caravan they are staying at!
(its a caravan park shop)
i can usually remember number 2 after they tell me number 1 again lol

as u guessed im a drummer... i noticed rhythm in everything and am often found singing to the rhythm of things and tapping my legs... even singing along to the sound the slush puppy machine makes at work when it is first turned on!!
i used to drum to the rhythm the train made as it moved over the track .. that have-a-cup-o'-tea, have-a-cup-o'-tea sorta thing... but they changed the train tracks and now they make no sound or bump at all... boring ! lol

You know about "Living with Guerillas" or the Discovery Channel's show called "Living with Wolves?" People study the animal's behavior and the way they live. The interactions between the animals and rules of behavior. They get closer to the animals and the people get accepted by the Wolves as part of their family.

Well this is a joke I say for myself and it makes me laugh.

I feel like I am "Living with People"........

You're right TijuanaLady...I feel animals are easier to understand. I have a dog and a cat that comfort me if I cry. I guess they understand me better too....LOL

"Living with Guerrillas" ... gave me an image of big furry insurgents wearing ammo belts and carrying AK-47s.

LOL - thanks for making me smile today.
