I actually ENJOY! The huge turn out for Black Friday (The day after Thanksgiving in the U.S. where people start holiday shopping.) As usual I made a BF topic and people said they had sensory issues etc. with it so they don't do it. So I was wondering who DOESN'T have issues shopping or Black Friday shopping even? For me it's the usual crowds that get to me bumping into me etc. ANNOYING! but since I KNOW BF will be busy I manuvuer the crowds and get to what I want. I usually get what I want so YA! Usually BF is big ticket stuff TV/Toys but I'm interested in DVD's/Firepit and smaller stuff no big ticket item. :-) I'm EXCITED to see what Wal-Mart,Best Buy,K-mart have for there BF deals. WHO's WITH ME?! !! !!

I have never done a Black Friday and probably never will. I don't like the idea of getting up early and all those horror stories I have heard about it, all the pushing and shoving and people stealing things from your cart. I don't think I can deal with lot of rude people because they can't be patient and can't live with if an item is sold out, too bad so they have to go stealing it from someones cart.

Is it all really like that when you go shopping on BF?

I've never had that happen but IMO shop smart! For example I want a Firepit a huge item so I'm hopping to go find one at Target (I saw there ad) and while I can't pick it up I'll have mom help me but I'm going to stand by it so I can get one. I think the horror stories depends on where you are. Most in my city are nice and I haven't seen any crazy people LOL! It's not all crazy it's usually a nice filed line and then you go in when the doors open. Nothing to outrageous.

I do not have any issues retail shopping in crowded places, such as malls. It is only grocery stores that I can't handle.

I think it's because when I am at a mall, it's for fun. I don't HAVE to purchase anything. The grocery store is high pressure, because I have to eat, so I have to make all these decisions about what.

We go out on Black friday, but not to shop. We get hot coffee and just walk around and watch people.
We take pictures of the people camped out on the sidewalk, and the lines stretched all the way around the store. People say and do crazy stuff; it's better than a movie.

I pretty much never shop, except for food, so I won't be going. I don't like crowds but I can handle them okay.

If I have money, I love shopping. But not for groceries. Food shopping I cry over half the time. It's embarrassing.

As I said in the other topic I don't. I don't like crowds but they don't cost me anything.

I wish I could be more like you, zeldapsychology. I've always had trouble with sensory issues while shopping. I would love to enjoy going to the store instead of having meltdowns over it.

Nope :D
I love it when no one is around, I have lots of money, and can buy clothes. So not often, otherwise it is a nightmare :D

I never have a problem with shopping, even on Black Friday, but I often find the good stuff I want is already gone by the time I get to it. So I go shopping before Thanksgiving and let everyone else fight it out after. I usually shop around for stuff, especially if it's a big ticket item I want, and once I make a decision, I go back to the store and purchase it.

Although I don't like to buy stuff between Thanksgiving and New Year's, I do like to get to the mall early and watch other people shop. People fascinate me, and I like to watch from a distance as they fight over stuff, run here and there to try to find items, keep the children in check, etc.

One thing that bothers me to no end is when a store stops carrying a brand of item I like. I get frustrated easily if a store that has carried a favorite item suddenly stops carrying it. I frantically shop at all of the stores I know about to try to find that particular brand, and if I can't find it, I go home. I simply cannot decide on what to do next on the spot. I usually have to stew over it for days -- if not weeks -- before I will decide what to do about my seemingly insoluable problem. I usually find another brand of that item, or if there is no other brand, I simply go without. But making that decision quickly is impossible for me. - LJS

I don't mind shopping at the supermarket unless it's in aisle one (vegetable aisle) it's the most annoying, there was a lot of people and they're all really close. I just get really bothered and start stimming.

Clothes shopping has got to be the most annoying thing ever, it's my hell. Loud music and loud people. Too many people are close and sometimes more than one person may be at your rack, then it's just a disaster, and if there is a group of friends, run.

Crowds, check. Loud noises, check. Flashing Lights, check. Early morning, check. The Mall, check.

I think I described the most horrible thing I can imagine, also, Black Friday.

I love shopping, and the more crowds, the better.
