robo37 posted a suicidal post and I'm quite worried about him cause he made a suicide attempt two days ago.

I tried sallamandrina, no response yet
I had already written to moog abt something else, no response yet

so I'm assuming they aren't online and I don't know who to contact or what to do about this.

Also in general I don't know what to do in this situation.

Does anyone know?

live and let die…

i know it sounds wrong in this case, but robo37 is young and has been pondering about suicide for years… i assume that someone in his real world has responsibility for him… and maybe even cares for him as family…

if he attempted suicide a few days ago… someone probably is keeping an eye on him.

if not……..

than there's not much to do to stop it, unless anybody knows his address…. and he is sitting and waiting for it…

sorry to be that aspie cynical. but i really hope someone is with him and helps him to find a good way of living his aspie life.

This is really sad :( I hope that somebody stops him and helps him.

I'm really sorry that I don't have any advice. I don't really see what anybody can do. Even though some website hosts can track IP adresses, by now it would probably be quite late for that.

I really hope that somebody is watching him. I wasn't allowed anywhere and the house was made a danger-free zone after I attempted suicide :(

Not sure who could track the address. I really hope he's still around though and reading all the responses.

EDIT: There is a sticky thread :)

yes. much.

especially because most of us have been there ourselves…. or at least pondered about the possibility of leaving this weird world we do not understand… and never will fit in.

Thank you for making this thread - unfortunately there's not much we can do :(

Has anybody here been talking to him privately or has his facebook or knows his name? If you do please contact us. Also could everybody who read his thread send him a PM - maybe that would help him see how many of us care about his struggle and want to help.

You have to call the police, in such cases IP gets tracked down by them, once I saw a similar situation of a dog lovers board where some suicidal lady wrote she was in depression after the death of her dog and wanted to kill herself. The posters informed the police and she was tracked down, I generally read about many such cases.

I hope that he's doing okay. This reminds me of the time that I was suicidal. I was between the ages 16 and 19.

I hope if he attempted, than they were able to get to him in time and they were able to stop him and get him to the hospital.

I always worry whenever someone makes a thread like that, because we can wonder if they are still alive until that person makes another or logs in. :(

I've PM'd robo37, if he is still there. It's worrying, since his last post was "I'm sorry. Goodbye." :(

All right. I called the Liverpool Police Department internationally using this info and they said the police would go check on him

robo37 if you're reading this I'm really sorry for the huge fuss I'm making but you have me and obviously a lot of other posters really concerned so I didn't know what else to do.

Apparently the police could find his address using this info and said they'd check on him in 10-15 minutes at his house

I feel I've done something very intrusive by calling them but knowing his serious history of suicide attempts I felt I had to call

robo37 if you read this in the future I am profoundly sorry for causing a scene, you can blame it all on me, I just was very worried that you might be about to do something irreversible and tragic and everyone wants you to be alive and well.

Actually he can blame it on me too and all of us who agree with your calling them.
