I don't really have any plans for New Years Eve. I'll just stay at home with my Parents. I don't really have anybody my Age to party with and they're not going to do anything for New Years Eve at my Clubhouse, like they did Last Year. What is everybody else going to be doing on New Year's Eve?

I also have an important New Years Resolution. I'm going to put the differences that my Parents and I have had over the past 12 Months aside and turn over a New Leaf. I'm going to open up and tell them everything that's going on in my life. I'm going to speak to all of the people around me with a purpose and I'm going to let my voice and my wonderful Accent be heard by everybody in my life. I'll let it be heard by my Friends, Family and the people at the Health Club. I'll even talk to my Neighbours every chance that I get.

I have another resolution which is to keep my Diet and Excercise Regime on track. I want to reach my Goal Weight this year, and I'm willing to do anything in my power that I can to make it happen. :P

I'm going skiing tommorow with one group of friends and then i'm going to the beach to a cottage to party. We were glued to the beach all summer this year more than ever. Now we are taking the campfire inside since it is going to be about -20 out.

I never have any really big events, all my friends split into factions and no matter how hard I try to get them to gather in one place...it's just useless.
One girl doesn't like a couple of my other friends cause they are rude. Another guy hates another guy's girlfriend. Another guy isn't allowed to go anywhere cause his girlfriend is paranoid that he'll cheat on her. Another one can't stand so and so....and so on!! !

Hopefully everything will work out, we get drunk, play some guitar and shoot some fireworks off!!

Have a happy and safe New Years Eve, everyone!

i shall be trying to ignore it, as usual, although it's difficult - mass consciousness, and all that. with a bit of luck, i'll be asleep.

Plans? Attempting to ignore the false cameraderie, loud drunken singing and bloody fireworks, like every new years eve. The flocks of inebriated sheep holding hands singing 'auld lang syne' before continuing to drink and beat the crap out of each other says it all really. :x

Resolutions I do have though: stopping smoking (again), making myself get on with stuff before they become a problem, and sorting out voluntary work at a local AS resource centre, SACAR in Bradford. (which I was invited to arrange months ago but haven't got round to yet )

A genuine Happy New Year to you all.

Resolutions:

Hmmmmm... RE- Solutions, as if I have being trying over and over to solve some of these issues.... Well..Actually I have.

#1) The relationship thing with girls has to get better. It's all going in the right direction now I want to take it further.

#2) More socializing and interaction with people: It doesn't have to be anything crowded or outstanding. I just want to get out and probably hang around with my more outgoing friends. I normally run with the "nerd" pack and sometimes I find them very immature in public.

#3)Move to Western Canada and get situated there.

I'll think of more later.

I'm just going to a local Public House with family members, just hope the conversation doesn't revolve around boring useless topics otherwise I will probably fall asleep with boredom. Can't say I'm looking forward to it, but I have to try and make some kind of effort. Happy New Year people.

I thought that I was going to be the only one hangning out with my parents. I don't feel so embarassed, anymore. I might be living in an Appartment, by next New Years Eve. Maybe next year, I can invite a few Friends, Neighbours and maybe my Parents over for a New Years Eve Dinner. I could make Spaghetti and Meatballs. I'm looking too far into the Future, but anything can happen over the next twelve months.

I wish you all a Happy New Year that's full of lots of pleasant suprizes

Well since my PMDD has kicked in with a vengeance today I'll be trying to read and ignore all the crap going on outside.

As for resolutions- I've never been able to see the point of new year's ones. They'll only be forgotten by next week.

Anyway- Happy New Year to you all :)

Mel

I guess i'll just sit here behind my computer, not even noticing it's already midnight. I do have a friend dropping by, though, sometime this evening.
Tomorrow we're having a big family gathering (like we do every year), i've been stressing out about it for 2 weeks or so already (wishing your family who you see once a or twice a year a happy new year, it seems so pointless to me and i think it's stressing, not to mention sitting at a table with nieces and nephews i hardly know and always ask so many questions)

Plans for this year: getting a nice job and buy a base guitar.

I went down to Sydney harbour with my mum. We watched the fireworks and got drunk on champagne. It was nice, but I made the mistake of wearing my platform boots, so I fell over alot.
My new years resolutions are-
Do more creative work.
Make some new friends.
Buy a home brew kit and start making my own beer, because it's alot cheeper and probably healthier.
Go visit my dad and make him teach me guitar.

Happy New Year Everybody!

Sounds like a bunch of NT bulls**t to me. Maybe you should get friends who are a little less neurotypical--you know, ones who won't avoid going somewhere just because they don't like so-and-so and what's-his-face because of something that happened a year ago or whatever. You know what I mean?

Maybe you should stop telling people what to do and let them do what they want.

Pretty much all my friends are NT's and not all NT's are total jerks.

Anyway it's been New Years for ages in NZ, and I worked until 10pm, then went to some friends places, and was home by half past one, nothing flash.

That seems like a fair comment. Each to his/her own, NeantHumain. :x

I am planning to celebrate New Year's Day by going to my neighbors' house 'till midnight. We are planning to play TV Scene It (A game which involves a DVD and in which you must answer questions about TV shows in past and present, and a game in which the movie version was rocked by yours truly one year ago  ) until 0530 GMT (2330 LT), during which we will sit back and watch the ball drop in Times Square. Then, i plan to ride out on my moped, honking the horn and yelling "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!". As for resoultions, I haven't thought of any yet, which means i am a little slow on the uptake  .
