Creating Autism Wiki Encyclopedia- Suggestions/contributors

I am considering creating a wiki encyclopedia about Autism and Asperger's Syndrome, and anything that is related. Is there anyone who has any advice for starting it, or who would be interested in contributing to it? Creating a wiki encyclopedia is a big job at first (at least for the admins), and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice. Also, I'm interested in finding people who know a lot of information that they could contribute.

What are your thoughts? Do you have any ideas for what it should include?

How would this be different from what Wikipedia has done so far?

It wouldn't have beauracratic rules for editing that only psychatrists could get around, and totalitarian restrictions on writing that prevent new articles from being created by anyone but admins.

It would be a lot more user friendly, and anyone who knows about Autism would be able to make contributions instead of people who are dedicated to the site full time. A dedicated site could also have more information about Autism then Wikipedia would. More interesting content would also be permitted. Here there are discussions about fictional Autistic characters; I don't know if Wikipedia still has the list of fictional Autistic characters.

Already exists. Needs serious revisions. Get to work.
