I don't think so. The facial expression issue is probably just part of the AS package.

Sometimes I have the same problem. Smiling at customers at the drive-through window feels weird. I think I manage to do it briefly, then look down to take their money, then repeat when giving back their change (if any). Thankfully, no one's complained--I don't think they really care as long as their order is correct.

In other situations, I'm probably making the wrong facial expression and/or it looks forced--maybe that's why some people have given me odd looks.

I don't think there is any drug but it's possible that acting classes may help. I used to feel fake when I smiled so if your going to fake it, maybe you should learning to fake it well. I know singing karaoke helped me with voice inflection. If nothing else rehearse smiling in a mirror eventually it'll get habituated into your nervous system and become reflexive rather than forced.

I'm told I have a very 'expressive' face. I'm pretty good at making the right expression at the right times, but sometimes I'm not thinking about it and I slip up.

One of these slip-ups include laughing without smiling. That one really throws people.
