What's wrong with me??? Me and the family went through another issue. I was giving my views on dealing with the 8 year olds learning issues and we went back and forth in an arguing manner. When dad started yelling at the 8 year old I went to step in. Mom grabbed my face to hold me back. I wasn't going to do anything but say something and I assume my body language read otherwise. Mom grabs my face forcefully at times. I'd give a view mom would come back with her/dad's view back and forth back and forth. This got me to thinking are Aspies opinionated? When we have our views WE have our VIEWS of a situation. This is my thinking. It came down to basically let mom/dad deal with raising the children and not step in to help. Since it does no good and lead into this back and forth arguing as you guys have said in many topics before I NEED to MOVE OUT! Thanks

I am. That's the reason why the only section of the school newspaper I wrote for was the opinions section.

As with most humans between birth and death, I've been known to very strongly express my opinions from time to time

Phew! Glad to know I'm not the only one. I'm no expert but perhaps this is an Aspie thing. help4aspergers.com mention that female Aspies get very talkative and defend there views if they believe in something. :-)

No. Aspies are never opinionated. Ever.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Hmm. Interesting. I don't know if I am or not - I'm often curiously void on any of the big issues that people usually have an opinion about (abortion being a prominent one), but I know my own views. I just don't ordinarily see the point in telling anyone else about them.

Hell yeah! Damn Straight! You know it!

My guess is because of a frustrated expression of self, it comes out forcefully

If I wasn't called The Little Professor, I was called The Little Politician. Mom kept saying I should become president.

And definitely. It sounds pretty bad. An environment can hinder someone greatly, or help them. If yours is hindering, it's better off for you to move out. I had to in order to get myself situated and figure myself out.

I am VERY opinionated. That's why the journalism field, unless I were to write editorials, wouldn't work out for me. XD

I am sure some Aspies are as opinionated as some NTs. Being opinionated or not does not necessarily correlate to being an Aspie.
