i'm talking Monopoly, etc. I forced myself into it when I was a kid, but I don't know whether I ever really liked it.

I have always liked board games. Only thing I loved about Monopoly was getting money from people and trying to land on properties and not paying hoping the person missed me landing on it. And buying as much properties as possible.

Our family played simple board games when I was young, but I never liked strategy games more intense than Checkers or Dominoes. Games like Monopoly or Chess are even still beyond my grasp of ever playing them well.

Depends on the game. I have always been super competitive and everyone has to STICK TO THE RULES! I never really liked games that involved chance (like monopoly) but very much like games of skill like pictionary and scattegories. Especially Scattegories- Lists are awesome

I got into wargaming and roleplaying games and stopped really caring about anything less strategic than Risk.

I was really seriously into chess for a long time, thanks to Through the Looking Glass, but I had trouble planning sufficiently far ahead to really strategize with it.

I hated Monopoly.

It really depends on the game. I like Monopoly until it becomes the never ending game. Same with Uno. I love Apples to Apples, Scattergories, Mad Gab, Chess, Checkers, etc...

It never got beyond Snakes & Ladders or Checkers. Anything requiring a strategy completely floored me.
I hated Monopoly, though!

I've never been big on games of any sort and I never play games on my computer. As a kid I played a few, but never was that caught up in the whole game thing. As an adult I am especially put off by the "games" that people play and try to pass off as adult interaction, e.g. mind games, oneupmanship, manipulations and jockeying for position in the social hierarchy and business world, etc. Childish behavior IMNSHO. In short I dislike games of any sort and I have seen that dislike grow as I get older.

Games? I don't prefer them over some dead-serious lies. ...ah, the heck am I talkin' about!?

Oh, games! Sorry, I lapsed into the surreal for a moment. I like all kinds of games.

I didn't mind the games so much as the gamers, who suddenly became nasty, foul-mouthed individuals I didn't know.

I enjoy board games and computer games. I've grown out of video games over the past 10 years.

I never really liked monopoly cause it seemed so long. I liked backgammon and trivial pursuit and pictionary was really fun but one time it got so crazy the little hour glass got smashed when someone slammed it.
