I know this is a pretty odd thread, but I've seen some other rather odd threads on this forum and they've become popular. I just thought about other people on here who have been called names in the past (or recently) by NTs, and how it made you feel.

I've been called a nutter, a twat, a weirdo, and even a lesbien. The lesbien one was the worst name I ever got called because I am nowhere near a lesbien. The reason why I got called a lesbien was because I fancied a man, and he had a girlfriend. And I liked his girlfriend a lot because she was pretty and really confident and ''cool'', and I was only 14 back then so sometimes it can be normal to admire the girlfriend of the man you fancy. I was just so jealous of her for having him, so I used to try to gather what she did to act so confident and pretty to get a man like him. But my friends used to call me a lesbien, simply because they didn't understand. I had no feelings for her (no way! Urgh!). It ws the bloke who I had feelings for.

Anyway - enough of that. I just wondered who else got called names and what the names were, and who by.

I got called "Bugs Bunny teeth" before I got braces because I had buck teeth. Thankfully Spongebob didn't get popular until after I had braces, otherwise I probably would have been called "Spongebob teeth" too.

I've also been accused of being an incestuous lesbian because of how intensely emotionally attached I was (and still am) to my mother. I got called that mostly during elementary school. My mom worked as a playground supervisor, and I spent all my time clinging to her physically and emotionally, because I didn't want to play with the other children and our home life was bad at that time.

freak, weirdo, freako, strange, odd, quiet, all kinds of names. I've also been told that I am creepy and that I'll probably go off one day and kill a bunch of people. which couldn't be further from the truth. The only thing I wanted was to be left alone.

Throughout my teens I got called a baby before by relatives, even though I was hardly doing anything relevent to acting like a baby. Now I am 20 and most of my cousins are teenagers now, I've noticed that they never get called babyish at all, even if they do things what are babyish. All they do is smile at them and say, ''ohh, that's kids for you.'' And I just scowl because they shorten my childhood but make theirs be extended.

So to this day I hate being called a baby. It throws me into a meltdown.

Alien, weird, strange, mildly odd...I could go on! The worst one was when a teacher at school said that being friends with people younger than me was "worrying" and said that all the other teachers were fed up with me hanging round their classrooms- I felt like some sort of paedophile when really it was only coz I found it easier to be friends with them coz of less social pressures.

When I was in school (mostly from 6th-9th grade), my classmates had a variety of names for me, but a few of them stuck out. I'll give you a hint: One of them is a British term for a cigarette, or an archaic term for a bundle of sticks. I heard that one very often.

The other one with which they loved to taunt me so much was the feminine derivative of my name.

I honestly can't remember most of them. One does stick out though: one of my English teachers once sarcastically called me "the professor". It certainly wasn't intended as a compliment, but I kind of liked it.
