I just noticed a pattern there.

your not alone. It's not that I dislike everything sci-fi and anime - they're just some of my lesser favourite genres

Sci-fi is nice if they get their facts straight. I hate anime.

I hate anime. I'm okay with scifi, but not into it.

Anime has creepy eyes and faces... I don't see how they don't scare every other autistic.

I only like them if they appeal to me personally.

Example: love STAR TREK, but never got into DOCTOR WHO.

The only animes I ever really liked were/are: SAILOR MOON, INUYASHA, FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST and PARANOIA AGENT. Watched a little bit of YU YU HAKUSHO but not the whole thing. Also, saw the entire FLCL but I still don't get it.

I dont really get into either. I like fiber art...its kinda like stimming while making something cool. I am very sensitive to what I watch or read. Things, even if not real, affect me very deeply, so I dont watch much tv. Often when reading a ficton, I get so into the book that I forget where I am...and become part of the book, so I dont really read fiction either...so that leaves out sci-fi and anime.

You're definitely not the only one. I'm more interested in science fact than science fiction.

b-b-but, this can't be! Mom says everybody who like this stuff is Autistic! This must mean, you're not really autistic! 8O
j/k.

I love both anime and sci-fi, so I must be 'normal' ;)

I don't even know what "anime" is. :P

I used to love sci-fi but I hardly bother with it these days. I'm too good at noticing the unfeasible events that happen in such fiction, and then I get stuck and can't follow the plot any more. Occasionally there'll be a credible storyline, and then I can really enjoy it, but most of it is too easy to de-bunk these days.

No. I am not a fan of sci-fi at all, and Doraemon is the only anime I like.

Good sci-fi, not just sci-fi for the sake of it. I have no special attraction to anime.

I love sci-fi (especially alternative time lines) and I can very well do without anime and manga.

I used to be a huge anime geek, but I'm not into that anymore.

I do enjoy sci-fi though, especially Doctor Who and Torchwood.
