I often spend a lot of time worrying about stuff, which leads to a downward spiral and probably a touch of depression:(

However I finally seem to be finally getting the hang of the managerial / supervisory (whatever u want to call it) aspect of my job. It's such a trivial matter because we're talking about a job that i've no plans to stay in, in a city i intend to move away from in the near future.

Anyway, back to the point, such a small thing has made me see everything else in a positive light - and this is a time of year where i normally feel the pressure from all angles.

this post seems like a rant but i need to make it to remind myself (and anyone else) what to do next time i feel in the dumps: get the basics sorted

any thoughts?

[edit: i think i should have posted this in The Haven or similar. sorry mods  ]

Most things are only as complicated as you make them

I don't have a job. But I have a book - actually I have many books that I read that make me forget about my troubles.

I agree on that... a good book/movie/videogame can help take the focus away from the worrysome things in life. However, I can rarely find the time to read a book, so I usually go for watching a good movie or play a challenging videogame.

It's only a problem, if you make it a problem.
