I've been reading "Endurance, Shackleton's Incredible Voyage". As they are describing the personalities of the various crewmembers, it almost sounds like a lone NT leading a group of Aspies through being shipwrecked in Antarctica. Anyone else familiar with it?

No im not familiar with the book. But you brang up a good idea. What if aspies could settle to a unpopulated/isolated land like Antartica for example? This is very intriguing and fascinating to me...

The book is about a failed expedition to cross Antarctica on foot. Their ship became stuck in the pack ice in January of 1915. The ship was eventually crushed by the ice and they were stuck on an ice flow until August 1916 when they were finally rescued. If I get some time, I'll post some of the personality descriptions, but many read like textbook Aspies and it appears that their Aspergers traits were what enabled them to survive.

We could make up a population the size of Australia's. It is not within the lunatic range to say that we someday could have our own land---I believe that day will be soon, but only if we start advocating seperation from NTs. Aspies in Antarctica... that is a pleasant thought. A cold, snowy paradise for us to gather and live together in perfect harmony. :D
