The full episode

I kinda laughed at that "Warioware" joke.

An "aspie" on MTV? Has to be fake like everything else on MTV. They probably just saw an autism speaks commercial, checked wikipedia and then ripped off a character from some other movie that isn't remotely autistic and said that he was.

I'm with Pistonhead. Furthermore, I found it insulting. But most of all, it seems to imply that one Asperger's can be essentially cured by following these simple tips. Bah!

well after watching the episode, it was the standard glossy 30 day hey lets fix this weird kid just like that episode.
he seemed to be generally liked by all the kids in his class and the bullies didnt seem too intent on antagonizing him.
and i guess i say that cause when i look back on my days in high school, i could never go up to the large majority of girls and ask them on dates due to the usual teen clique divides and my awkwardness/shyness/etc that i became known for from my fellow band members. and i really cant say i felt he was truly a loner as he seemed to always have people at lunch, etc to talk to and it wasnt like a mtv setup of hey sit around this kid for the camera. he is one of the lucky ones to have a decent number of people who were comfortable and accepting of him.
the only other odd thing i found was the girl who said her first kiss would be when she is married. it just sounded a little too unnatural for any teenager to say regardless of who they are. and also that one friend where she was seen talking to the coach in the hallway after the fight, i believe she has some aspie traits based on her body language, voice, and her facial expressions. it just didnt feel like her natural nerves being on camera.

oh yeah and can anyone explain to me the whole "jajajajaja" thing that seems to be popping up in comments everywhere on the net? when did "hahahaha" become "jajajajaja"?

This Spanish laughing looks like porn movies to me. They also say jajajaja, but in normal way (ya).

I can't see this vid, because I'm not from USA.

It's just one of those things. I've been on the internet long enough to remember when using "heh" made a person think he/she was SPECIAL, a real "netizen" who had access to this secret world that few others did! Now that a third of the world's population is online, including scammers from Nigeria and Russian mobsters, it doesn't make you special. Actually, when MOST people say "jajaja", they say it as "yayaya", not "hahaha". "Ja" is "yes" in German, btw.

Some of the comments give me a sense that people don't know much about Asperger's....

The "J" in jajajaja...has the same effect as an H in ha ha ha in Spanish. I notice alot of my Salvadorian spanish speaking friends us the J in the same context as an J. The name Javier comes to mind. An English speaking person would pronounce it as "Javier" but a Spanish speaking person would immediately know it is supposed to be pronounced as "Havier". Lots of the use of saying jajajaja must be because more spanish speaking people and latinos in Central America are having more and more access to the net.

Unfortunately, as stated in the third post, the clip DOESN'T PLAY. This makes it difficult to comment on anything that happened on the show, and leaves people commenting on the comments. Frustrating for you, yes, but blame MTV.

And, speaking of going off topic - does anybody else think it's about time that MTV changed their name? After all, it's been well over a decade since "Music" has been their focus. I'll admit that I haven't sat down and watched it in a very long time, but when I stumble across it I never see music videos. EVER. Do they even play those anymore? Perhaps, "Narcissistic Personality Disorder TV," after the "stars" of their plethora of unrealistic "reality" shows? :P
