I heard that in the USA professionals, carers, parents, people with ASD's and their families all give their input in the same room, all their opinions.

I like the American AS approach. In the UK there is far too much inolvement from parents.

Sorry can't comment on that futher since I haven't done any of them though. I did some social trainings here in the Netherlands which where in groups.

Are you talking about in relation to schooling, diagnosis, what?

I'm in the UK, but meetings/diagnosis/support etc all seem to vary enormously depending on where you live, even which part of a city you live in. Seems to be a similar experience in the US.
