No.

We are human due to our genetic heritage, and not by virtue of what we do with it.

No, we're just a rare breed of humans.

Anywhere from 0.5% to 1.0% of the general population, depending on the study.

We're just humans with AS - only this, and nothing more.

Aspies and humans can breed among themselves, and are therefore considered to coexist within the sapiens species.

Uh... socializing is simply the exchange of information thru verbal and non-verbal communication, as far as I know, so unless you're a completely mute shut-in who never talks to anyone, you socialize. You just probably don't do as much of it as NTs. In fact, you asking this question is a form of socialization.

I don't think that socializing is what makes humans human. Monkeys are very sociable, and ants even more so. I think it's a whole syndrome of other things, like our generalized genes and chromosomes, thinking, verbally or in pictures, an opposable thumb, making and using tools, laughing, etc, etc, etc.

There have always been hermits, and some of them were Saints, and maybe all of them were Aspies or Auties.

I prefer the term Superior Mutant. Praise Bob!

But, alas, I'm only human.

Yep, different breeds of dogs have wildly different traits, due to numerous mutations. AS is genetic mutation. Are we human 1.0? No. But then, who is anymore? Just riding the evolution train into the future.
