One thing that is very irritating to me is that everyone thinks that I am pissed off or angry most of the time. Even when I am quite content.

Ever have this happen to you?

I am told that i come off as angry because i have a blank look on my face....Putting a fake smile on is so draining :(

Yup, they also think I'm sad when I'm either feeling completely apathetic or just fine.

Yes, I have gotten that throughout my life. I don't automatically smile when I see someone and I wear a blank expression on my face most of the time. Sometimes people are intimidated by the way I look at them and watch them. Most of the time I'm only observing.

Yes. Even when I'm not. Not sure why. I get REALLY intense when I'm angry. If I was like that all the time my head would pop.

Yes.

It's maddening when I am perfectly happy and people tell me to cheer up.

I go from being completely happy and unaware of my facial expression to being really annoyed that someone else expected me to make a special effort to prove to them that I am happy.

No, they think I am sad or feel no emotion / is peaceful, because I do not smile a lot and control my emotions in order to avoid impulsive acts that may lead to some meltdowns.

That's only since I have stopped having meltdowns because before that they thought I was mad or moody.

I used to have a stern look on my face and everyone thought I was angry all the time.

i'll sometimes unnoticeably raise my voice in the middle of a conversation and the person i'm talking to will think i'm upset at something they have just said.

Yes, some years ago, they did, but not anymore. I mostly look sad or scared.

Yes, I would get this all the time. It's very annoying after a while, and then I DID get angry. It was either angry or sad.

"Hey, what's wrong?"
"Nothing"
"You sure?"
"Am I sure? You are asking me if I'm sure? Actually, something is wrong. There's a hole in your face that keeps sealing and re-opening! You need to see a doctor right away! You wouldn't want an infection, now would you? Foot-in-mouth disease is common around these parts."

They will today.
Glasses frame broke and I taped it together with gaffa tape. My glasses still slip off my face and every time they do I swear.
I annoyed at little things which can build up to an eventual meltdown.
Like last night I didn't eat at 6pm and I always eat at 6pm so I was getting clearly irritated and the person next to me told me to get dinner, even though we had to wait until our table was called.

People think I am but I'm rarely angry. Maybe because i don't walk around with a Stepford smile on my face.

This goes as an understatement for me....I'm ALWAYS even more pissed off than I look.
