Anybody else has it too? I'm interested if there is any corelation.

Thank God winter's gone, because Nitroglyzerin has horrible side effects. But I have to wear gloves to April/May. And back to them in September (or end of August).

My ex had Raynaud's. It was quite tough on her even in a fairly warm climate. Thankfully I have such warm hands though, many times I used my hands to warm up hers. I definitely didn't complain about having to do that though :) Good memories.

As in, the explosive stuff?

I like cold weather, I feel bad when it's hot. And I am person who always wear short sleeves. I don't feel cold... but my hands become blue-violet. I wear few pairs of gloves and I have special Handwarmer like this.

Yes, it's this explosive. But my ointment has light concentration. But enough to make side effects of lower blood pressure. For example water retention. And other "nice" effects.

I have this very mildly with cold but not bad by a long shot. Now, I've had what I considered a severe episode once in my life when I got extremely angry, but again, it wasn't quite that bad. My fingers did turn white and then very red.

maybe it's not as obvious with me because I'm extremely pale?

I have it, it seems to feel more painful when my hands warm up again. it takes a few weeks for the strange blue/purple colour to go away.

I have Raynaud's. Had a sympathectomy in 2006 and that fixed up the problem with my hands. Now I'll have to go for the same operation to fix my feet.

yes, i have it. it started becoming full-blown last winter, but my work exacerbates the condition. a nurse took one look at my hands and said "oh. raynauds." so my doc gave me a scrip for Porcardia XL (blood pressure med/calcium-channel blocker) and it works quite well. i buy the generic version, nifedipine, which is only about $30 compared to $100+, and plus i only have to take it during very cold months. the worst is when i'm at the supermarket or holding keys or something metal or cold. also stress brings it on. they say to keep your hands warm but for me, gloves just make it worse. weirdly enough, fingerless gloves work better. it's like they keep the blood at the fingertips. it seems to have subsided since i started Celexa, i don't know if that's coincidental or not.

I have a mild case of it, nothing that requires medication.

I was just Googling about Raynaud's after returning from a particularly unpleasant trip to the pharmacist during which my fingers were totally numb and look where I ended up! I'd never heard of Raynaud's until a couple years ago and now I see all these people here have it too. I'm a little weirded out. :-)
