My doctor has me on Invega 6 mg once a day to "improve" my Asperger's behavior. It's a relative of risperdal. If anyone else takes it, do you notice any difference compared to not taking it?

I'm new and can't posts links yet, but enter Invega or paliperidone in Wikipedia for more info.

Invega is basically an isomer or the more active form of Risperdal. Usually, drug molecules come as a racemic mixture or the AI does not get converted into active form in the human body. Separating only the part that has the most therapeutic potential or using the pro-drug form can decrease side effects. However, atypical antipsychotics aren't drugs to be taken lightly at all.

I used to take Invega, but my psychiatrist switched me to Risperdal. I don't remember what it was like taking Invega, but I know that Risperdal controls my "bad thoughts" and calms my racing thoughts. I take it at night because it helps me sleep better.
