I was wondering with anyone has almost zero issues with noise and crowds, because I don't and it seems like almost everyone else here does.

I am not bothered by crowds at all, in fact, I went the 2010 Olympics which was very crowded, all the trains were packed and hot because of all the people and I didn't mind one bit. I felt like it was an adventure! I actually kind of like crowds.

Does anyone else NOT have issues with crowds?

Being a musical person and dreaming of performing live I can say that while crowds for me are overwhelming, I would have to face them in order to end up making that dream a reality. They're not that bad; you just need to be extra mindful of people/surroundings.

Crowds are god awful. I don't even want to see my favourite bands when I'm older, only because of the massive crowd issue. The worst time ever is going on the Tube in London, where you have to jump on the train as fast as you can among hundreds of people or the doors will chop your head off! Heaven knows what it is like in Japan/China, where the train staff physically shove everyone into the train and all the people are literally crammed almost upside-down against the windows.

I have to fight the urge to shove people away.

I'm OK in crowds for a limited time - maybe 20 minutes or so, depending on the crowd's size and noise, and how chaotic it is. But if I go over my limit, I'll soon get all stressed out and upset.

It seems to help if I have some motivation to be there, naturally. If I'm not there out of my own desire but because others are coercing me into joining/helping them in a crowded situation, it can feel a lot worse, because I resent their disregard for my problems and I usually don't know how long it'll be before them let me escape from their poxy environment. If I'm alone, I take comfort in knowing I can abort the mission any time I like, and that allows me to stay around for longer.

Rather not be in them, the noise makes it hard to think.

That said, I don't really actively avoid them (I voted "mild issues.")

I get very anxious in crowds, due to all the noise and movement there is. I can even get full blown panic attacks from them.

I particularly hate crowd when I'm trying to get somewhere through it or it closes in on me - I get quite anxtious. I actively avoid busy areas whenever possible but will put up with it for a gig as I love seeing good bands live.

I filled in Yes, mild issues.

I pick up to much signals from other people and I don't trust most of them.
Makes me on edge and tires me out in lenghty exposures. Next to feelings present in individuals and the atmosphere as a whole are also weight on my shoulders.

Emotionally and/or mentally stable people don't weigh down on me that much though, in contrary I get energy out of it :D
Sadly I don't encounter that many in daily life :(

I really don't have anything against crowds but I think unconsciously my stress gets a bit higher because I talk less when I'm with more people. Like if i was at a friends house and there would be 4-5 people I would be able to talk pretty easily but if there are like 10 people(people I know) I would let the talking be handled by the other persons. I guess probably because I don't like to be the center of attention and I'm afraid to stumble on my words when there are so many people near me.

I really can't stand being in crowds. I don't get panic attacks or anything, it just elevates my anxiety levels.

In September, I went to a Gay Pride parade, where there was a huge crowd in attendance. Plus, it was so hot and everybody starting getting sweaty, and lots of people were smoking and drinking. Not only were the masses intimidating me for, but it also started to smell.

I don't like crowds since they're stressing and take up a lot of space, but I manage to ignore them pretty well, so I voted mild.

There's safety measures to make the doors stop if they hit anything.

It depends.

* Is it a social crowd with which I must interact or one that I can silently observe as a disinterested party?
* Is the crowd calm? Or is it rowdy, loud / obnoxious, rude, drunk, etc.?
* How does the crowd smell? Includes smoker stink.
* Is there space in the crowd or is everyone smooshed together like in a crowded bus?
* Are they all headbanging to some wild death metal band? If yes then I can be more tolerant of wrong answers to the things above. :)
Etc.

So I voted yes / mild because it has to be the wrong type of crowd to give me issues. And I'm sure that's true for all people if any type of mind.

I guess it would depend on your definition of a crowd. People at a mall who are not together and are generally milling about around me and minding their own business ( which I can ignore) would not be a crowd to me--- unless it is Black Friday and there are 250 people running simultaneously down aisle 10 to get the last Blue Ray DVD player on sale. Then I would call it a crowd. Or even a mob.

No panic attacks or anything, but I dislike crowds greatly.

Fortunately, I have gotten pretty good at shutting down instead of melting down. I sort of go into a partial shut down in a crowd at a mall. That's easier because I don't have to interact with them. They become obstacles instead of people.

If I have to socialize it can be more challenging. I have to stay more alert and engaged and the noise and hubbub can get to me. Then I have to leave.
