that you should have stopped liking or doing at age 10?

For me, I've taken a recent obsession to tinkerbell and disney princess... and clothes that i'd like to buy that are designed for a 6 yr old
I have this strong desire to become a little girl again.

i was picking out some new boots and i was lamenting that the children's styles do not come in my size. also, my winter mittens are made to look like fuzzy mice with ears and everything.

i love to collect miniatures and i jump up and down when i see small things and get excited.

Two of my all-time favorite movies, Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (both by Tim Burton), are aimed towards children.

Also, I still have imaginary friends and I sleep with a teddy bear. :)

I love children's books, especially picture groups for the preschool to early elementary set. The children's section of Barnes and Noble is one of my favorite places. I even have a favorite spot in the children's section of Barnes and Noble. Provided no one takes that spot away from me, I can sit on the floor there reading one picture book after another, and be happy for hours. Parents who come with their kids and see me there undoubtedly think I'm strange, but I can live with that.
I can get pretty excited about toys, too. Back when my former boyfriend S and I were still together we went to an awesome toy store called FAO Schwartz together a few times. The first time we went there together, it was my first time visiting the store in well over a decade, and I was getting very visibly excited by all the toys there. S was quite amused by this, and I think some other customers were amused as well.
I've also seen and enjoyed a number of children's movies in my adult life. S and I saw a few Pixar movies when we were together. He's quite aspie-ish himself, and he quite liked Pixar movies and he took a particular interest in the video shorts that they always showed before the actual movie. S and I had a lot of fun watching Pixar movies together. It wasn't my decision to end things, and I still really miss him.
Anyway, I've veered from the original topic here. My point is, my chronological age might be very grown up, but my personality and interests continue to defy said chronological age. I'll most likely never really grow up. Being a grown-up strikes me as quite boring and tedious.

You can NEVER be too old for The Muppets.

Anyone remember Fraggle Rock? I love that show, but never once saw it as a child.

I like to color.

Seriously. Sometimes when I need to relax I'll take a photo off the Internet and turn it into a coloring page with very, very light gray lines; then print it out and work on it with crayons or colored pencils or chalk or pencil or... y'know, whatever's handy. It's fun.

I still like The Brave Little Toaster... Which reminds me, I should use some stills from that movie as coloring pictures. That'd be cute.
