It's a gathering at my older sisters. :-( As always Thanksgiving/BBQ usually whenever I go over there I end up saying/doing something wrong. :-( I don't want to make that mistake AGAIN!! !! SHEESH!! Any tips? I've asked before and of course the usual DS/Ipod/Internet (on my new EVO Cell phone) and I guess keep my DAMN mouth shut!! !! (don't talk to ANYONE!) Any other tips? :-)

You can try complimenting people and asking them how they are and how so and so is...if someone hasn't been able to make it to the party. People like it when you want to know how they are. You can also try making something for them, like cookies or whatever or giving them little gifts.

Keeping quiet usually works the best. Generally, though, eating is a good way to pass the time... it IS a party, after all. So whatever you eat, you can say " wow, this tastes real good!". The cooker of the food will usually like that.
At my family's dinners/parties, the TV is usually on, so I'll watch it.
My family is rather forgiving, so even if I say something wrong, they won't hold it against me forever. Hopefully yours won't either.

Just smile and say hello to everybody. Ask them how they're doing.
