hey everyone....i have a very high functioning case of autism and i've tried for creating a successful blog excuse I could put my time into a somewhat meaningful project and back a while ago wanted to do one that worked as a sort of outspoken and creatively assembled autism encyclopedia, something that would kind of gather a following--don't get me wrong, not like the Julie and Julia project, but something that would make people a bit more aware and want to tune into the reality that comes with the autism spectrum.
Recently however when I got back on it I decided to do something smart and search to see if someone had already done such a thing as an "autism encyclopedia" and lo and behold, google showed that a man had already written a whole encyclopedia up and it was available for purchase on amazon, and of course I was sure it would be located in other areas as well. I really don't know if, before jumping into trying to go alphabetically through Wikipedia or some other such related websites that list many subjects within autism issues or anything closely presented as one in an attempt to try to do all the social story work from scratch in a frenzy....before *ahem* getting the encylopedia myself and making this process a whole lot easier. Could I go both ways and see what happens, in the purpose of giving me guidance with which to write my social stories to help kids and parents of kids with autism out?
I am really excited to do this blog and want to go through no matter what. I'll take all the support I can get as well if people give me whatever they know about starting a helpful blog. I think it's definitely worth it, but even with me lacking skill, I could take this project a long way.
thanks all
