They seem very predictable.

I answered no because sometimes they totally surprise me, I had no idea they were feeling or thinking whatever they tell me they were.

I'm with Shadi (btw your name is so very close to mine). I find my mum predictable because she's my mum. Anyway she once got annoyed about driving one way to a certain place so she did a U-turn and I just knew exactly what would happen and her reaction. A car came up the road as she was turning and she swore and got panicky.

People I know I find predictable but I guess when it comes to having conversations with them I don't really pick up on what they are really feeling. And if it's a stranger I really don't know.

I mean sometimes I could guess what I person might be like or might say/do and I could either get it right or so wrong.
Once I misinterpreted my sister and I do it to my friends all the time.

Noone is predictable to me; people wouldn't be so difficult if they were.

Most NT's are predictable...think social darwinism

It's possible to make Neurotypicals: Manual*, because they're generally predictable. But every pattern should have NOTE! ILLOGICAL WAY! and then observed other, odd behaviours.

*they ofc think they're unique and it's not possible, oh, I'm so sorry (sarcasm)

In many ways, yes, but in other ways, no.

Somewhat. They seem interested in other people and talking to people they don't know, sometimes for hours at the grocery store. All I want to do is get through the line and leave. Mostly, they are a mystery to me, though. Not always predictable.

I don't think they're that predictable. It's me who is predictable, especially when it comes to meltdowns. Snow makes me have meltdowns because I hate it so much, and when there is snow forecasted on the telly, my whole family in the room looks across at me, waiting for my usual reaction. If that ain't predictable, then what is?!

But, of course, everyone is predictable when you know them.

If I could predict their behavior then I would have an intact Theory of Mind and would be able to take advantage of my capacity for prediction. By definition, autism is a deficit in this type of thing, isn't it? If you are talking generalities, then there is a level of predictability, But in day to day life, my primary issue is that I CAN'T predict other's behavior.
