Impaired social interaction is caused by impaired communication. Both are strongly related to one another.

I'm saying it's like apples and oranges.

But that one can lead to the other.

Impaired social interaction is more complex than impaired communication.

Impaired communication frequently is a prominent symptom of impaired social interaction.

Impaired communication is when you can't tell others how you feel, what you like and so on.
Impaired social interaction is not being able to engage in activities or communication with others, like playing or sharing stories. I think. Correct if wrong.
