Interesting. So 'curing' autism will make us more stupid as a race? It wold appear that a necessary consequence of evolution selecting for intelligence is a certain number of outliers where the genes don't work out so well.

I suppose if they could tease apart the interrelationships, you could reduce the incidence combinations that cause autism without eliminating the brainiacs.
