Listening to The Kinks (60's English band) 'I'm not like everybody else', made me think this could be an Aspie anthem, chanted at protests or meetings (words might need to be altered a bit but the sentiment is us).
Then there is 'The Scream by Edvard Munch', which could be us or anyone else with mental health issues.
'Stranger in a strange land' by Robert Heinlein, describes us too.
Are there any other artistic endevours you'd pick for such a collection? (films, sculptures etc. not just those I named).
"The Rape"
It sums up how I feel about looking people in the face. I feel as if I should not be looking at people's faces but there is a subconcious facination with human faces. I feel the same way about human faces that most people feel about nudity. Looking at human faces makes me want to pull my eyes out.
Most of Magritte's paintings of people have the faces covered up with a cloth or someother inaminate object. I wonder if he had the same aversion to human faces that I do.
It's been suggested Andy Warhol was autistic and I watched a documentary on Salvador Dali because he has always been one of my favorite artists, he just struck me as AS. I read a book about Pablo Picasso and his teachers had the same reaction to his art that mine did.
