Basically today was an ironic day. I was reading a book earlier that had some tips for teens and young adults on the spectrum. What I noted was I was bad at starting a convo, I don't spontaneously ask someone "how's the weather?" or "how are you?" to start a conversation, nor do I use sarcasm very much, and I dominate a conversation. I basically go up to someone and start off with a topic right away, and if someone talks, I try to change the subject back to what I am talking about. I am aware of my problems, maybe I can change them!

Anyway, later today, a lady I know introduces me to a couple other people and she tells them "she wouldn't tell you this, but she's a great conversationalist!"

I have no clue where that compliment came from. Maybe despite all my mistakes I'm still doing something right that erases them all? I mean maybe I became so good at something else that people forget what I do wrong? Or maybe she is lying to help me feel more confident? Ehh, I'm probably trying to hard to figure out what she was thinking, I just want comments.

Of course. Some of the rules are daft.
