Hello everybody I was wondering if any of you ever act like the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail?

"It's just a flesh wound!" and you keep going despite the seriousness your situation?

I can say I do this all the time, even when it's not really wise when I am on my treatments now...
On the other side it has kept me alive in more then one occassion.

Cheerfully,
Wallourdes

Yes, not paying attention to my body or anyone else that is telling me to slow the h** down. Most of my life. I can't move that fast anymore and it drives me crazy.

Yep... I'm ready to bite some legs off, hold them in my teeth, and slap the opposition to death with them, while I'm at it.

No, I complain and cry and make a huge deal of things if I get hurt.

Every job I ever worked at when my co-workers got hurt and complained about it so the other co-workers would say Todesking would shrug it off and keep working. Then they would do the Monty Python line Tis just a flesh wound.

This bit me in the ass in 2005 I kept ignoring swelling in my hands, feet, and legs. I also had shortness of breath and was sleeping a lot. I kept coughing up a clear liquid then it turned into vomitting the liquid. I had just gotten over a really bad flu so I thought it was pnumonia so I figured it was liquid filling my lungs. My co-workers even the ones who hated me were telling me to see the doctor. The next day I went to the emergency room they took my blood presure which was 270/110 the doctor then told me he thinks its congestive heart failure which it turned out to be true. They said if I would a couple more days to come in I would have died in my sleep. 8O
