Maybe this should be a poll, but it's often not yes or no. Just wondering if there are many here that use both hands, maybe not for the same thing (I write left handed, throw, eat, right handed, can write backwards (left hand) and discovered years ago that I can actually write with both hands at the same time (left, backwards, right forwards), but can't write forward with my write hand unless my left is writing backwards.
Anybody have similar "talents"?

I am mostly right-handed, yet I do bat and kick on the left. As a welder, however, I can do equally well with either hand in any position.

I putt left handed, and I can play tennis with either hand.

Yes, I write with my right hand but my left hand has excellent fine motion skills. When I broke my right ankle I just switched over and drove with my left side.

Yes... and Im older than most posters here... 68, and it caused me some grief when I was a child. Because back in the day, left handedness was considered bad... perhaps even evil. Im left-eyed. I shoot a gun lefty, eat left handed but write with my right hand. But it is easy for me to "teach" my left hand to do what my right hand does.

I had to write with my left hand in school because I broke my wrist. I got pretty good at it. So my motion skills aren't so bad, because I used to practice throwing a baseball with my left hand for some reason. I was really determined to be a lefty...it's the Aspergers.

I've always eaten with my right hand, and write right-handed too.
With some fairly simple manual activities (dusting/polishing, etc.) then it doesn't matter which hand I use - there's no difference in dexterity.
Lately I've tried doing more with my left hand and it wasn't as difficult as I'd expected.

[edit: it occurred later that it's only my family who call using a fork in the right hand "left-handed", but that description doesn't make any sense.]

I write left-handed
I eat right- or left-handed
I play guitar right-handed

I do a bunch of other stuff with either hand.
I can write with my right hand, but my handwriting is even less legible. Admittedly, the ability to write backwards is a decent parlor trick.

I write right-handed. However, I tend to do a lot of things with my left. I attempted to play guitar before, but found it too difficult because I play better left-handed, but the guitar was for a righty.

Guess the real term is cross dominance, sorry, I have just known so many people who did almost everything with the right.
